Benthanh Group was established following “Enterprise 90” business model on 26th December 1997. Up until now, Benthanh Group has robustly changed and developed to achieve our strategic objective: “Become the leading multi industry investment cooperation, service centric”. Currently, Benthanh Group has invested in and managed 42 company members in 5 business areas: Tourism, Trading, Real estate, Finance – Banking, Industrial production.

Along with the mindset of sustainable development, Benthanh Group is constantly enhancing internal strength and financial capability. As a result, consolidated EBIT and total asset have increased significantly since 2006, up to 32.4%/year and 17%/year respectively. Also, consolidated ownership capital has amplified to 15.8% per annual. Ownership capital reaches VND 2,041,205 million at the end of 2011.
Benthanh Group’s competitive advantages and branding prestige have been proved by a number of recent high-esteemed awards such as Certificates of Merit in honor of Prime Minister, Top 100 Vietnamese Golden Star award and Saigon Typical Business award in 2011.

Among them, eight companies have been listed on stock market (Savico (SVC),Ben Thanh TSC (BTT), Ben Thanh BTSC (BSC),Ben Thanh Material Joint Stock Company (VT1), Hotraco (HTC), Khahomex (KHA), Orient Securities Corporation (ORS),Gilimex (GIL)).
Not only that, joint venture companies between BTG and other international corporations (Marriot, Accor, Somerset, Norfolk Group, Sapa) have also taken dominant positions in Vietnam market.
